Are you interested in a career in Health and Social Care or Childcare? Our level 2 and 3 qualifications provide opportunities to pursue careers in teaching, childcare, nursing midwifery, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and many more.

Our level 3 courses are equivalent to three A levels with an opportunity to progress to university.

Our combined level 2 Health and Social Care and Childcare course will allow you to progress onto level 3 or gain employment.

Our Level 3 courses also enable you to gain employment through placement.

Huge congratulations to all of our 26 students who collected their results this morning from the Neath campus! Everyone has succeeded in gaining the Level 3 CCPLD qualification and are ready for university and employment! Your tutors are very proud of each and every one of you 😊

Yesterday was a Forest School Day for Year 2 students on our Level 3 CCPLD course.
What an amazing day it was! We spent the at Bishops Wood Forest School site near Caswell Bay.
Special thanks to EarlyYears Uwtsd for working with us on this programme, it has been an amazing experience!

Today our Level 3 Health & Social Care students successfully completed the Dining Immersive Experiential Training with Training 2 Care.

This powerful session gave our learners the opportunity to step into the shoes of individuals living with dementia, experiencing first hand the challenges and emotions that service users may face during mealtimes.

We are incredibly proud of how engaged, reflective and compassionate our students were throughout this training. Experiences like this help shape the empathetic, skilled practitioners they are becoming 💙

Today, students from Health, Social & Childcare at Neath College had the opportunity to meet with MS Jeremy Miles. During the visit, he spoke with learners about the increasing pressures on NHS and Social Care Services, and the ongoing plans in Wales to strengthen and expand community-based care. We appreciate him taking the time to engage with our students and support their understanding of the sector.
