Could you host an international student? 🌍

NPTC Group of Colleges is looking for local families and individuals in Neath and surrounding areas (within 30–60 minutes travel) to provide homestay accommodation for our international students.

Our students travel from all over the world to study here in Wales, and having a safe, supportive home environment can make a huge difference to their experience — not just academically, but personally and culturally too.

We offer both short-term and long-term homestay opportunities.

By becoming a host, you’ll have the opportunity to:

✨Support a student’s journey in the UK
✨Share Welsh culture and community
✨Build meaningful international connections
✨Provide a true “home away from home”

If you have a spare room and would like to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Find out more about our homestay host opportunities and apply now. Please share with anyone who may be interested!

⚽️🇦🇺🇬🇧 A very productive day on Monday in Newtown exploring new opportunities!

We had a fantastic day with Melvyn and Kathy from Sunshine Coast FC Fire, discussing how we can support their Football Academy students during their time in the UK.

It was great to explore the opportunities available for students to gain valuable experiences both on and off the pitch, while developing their skills, confidence and understanding of life and education in the UK. 🌍⚽️

We’re really excited to see what the future could bring from this potential partnership and the opportunities it could create for young footballers from Australia.

Watch this space… exciting things ahead!🇦🇺🤝🇬🇧⚽️

Last night, we brought together students, staff, partners and guests to celebrate the incredible international journeys that have taken our NPTC community around the world.

From Berlin and Barcelona to Nepal and Thailand, we heard directly from students and staff about what they learned, the challenges they overcame, the friendships they made and the experiences they will never forget.

We were incredibly grateful to have Ross Harries as our host for the evening and delighted to welcome Taith, whose invaluable funding and support have made so many of these international opportunities possible.

💙🌍 Giving back while making a difference!

A visit to the Foundation of Goodness Centre of Excellence gave our students the opportunity to learn about the inspiring work being carried out to support rural communities across Sri Lanka.

Founded to help bridge the gap between rural and urban opportunities, the Foundation provides education, skills development, sport and community programmes that empower people to reach their full potential. It was a privilege to visit the charity's flagship headquarters in Seenigama and gain a greater understanding of the positive impact it has on thousands of lives.

The students then headed out for a beach clean-up, where everyone rolled up their sleeves to help protect Sri Lanka's beautiful coastline. It was a fantastic way to give back to the local community while caring for our environment.
