Grŵp Colegau NPTC Group of Colleges is looking for local families and individuals in Neath and surrounding areas (within 30–60 minutes travel) to provide homestay accommodation for our international students.

Our students travel from all over the world to study here in Wales, and having a safe, supportive home environment can make a huge difference to their experience — not just academically, but personally and culturally too.

We offer both short-term and long-term homestay opportunities.

By becoming a host, you’ll have the opportunity to:

It was a busy, unforgettable few days. Together, we:

- Showed our international guests around several of our NPTC campuses 🏫

- Created delicious Brazilian dishes with our students in Newtown and Neath 🍲

- Experienced top-tier NPTC hospitality first-hand with fantastic dining experiences at our Blasus and Themes training restaurants 🍽️✨

- Explored beautiful Welsh heritage and history in Brecon 🏰

- Introduced our guests to a traditional, delicious afternoon tea! 🫖🍰

- Held fantastic discussions about future exchange and collaboration opportunities between Wales and Brazil 🤝✈️

It was a wonderful opportunity for our international guests to experience the fantastic food and service our students and staff provide right here at the College. A memorable evening of cultural exchange and great company!

From São Paulo to Swansea!

We were thrilled to welcome our guests from Senac São Paulo to The Shed in Swansea! They got to experience first-hand the incredible culinary talent coming out of Wales by trying a menu crafted by the Head Chef and former Grŵp Colegau NPTC Group of Colleges student, Joshua John.

It’s amazing to see our training and global connections come together here in Swansea Bay. 🍽️✨

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the Senac São Paulo team to Brecon! 🌍✨

We visited The Bank to discuss some exciting future plans that will create fantastic opportunities for our hospitality and catering students. Our Brazilian guests also got to immerse themselves in the local area and learn about rich Welsh history.

Of course, no visit is complete without a taste of local tradition! We treated the team to a classic British afternoon tea at the stunning Llanerch Vineyard—complete with plenty of scones, Welsh cakes, and cups of tea. ☕🧁
