We visited Dylan Thomas's boathouse in Laugharne, and learned a bit more of his history, I thought would a Dylan Thomas history workshop be of interest to any teachers?

I’ve had quite a few teachers recently asked me if I do the Tudors workshop, unfortunately I don’t, as this is one part of history I don’t have much interest in, but since so many have shown an interest, I’m just wondering: should I do a Tudor workshop and would anyone be wanting to book it in the future? To remember VE day, I will be down in Cwmgwrach community centre with our WWII and WWI items, dress up uniform, the Blitz siren, and replica rifles! Come on down to have a look and touch some real historical items!✌

Happy new year! from February we will be offering our history workshops through video, unfortunately I will not be able to visit schools as I will be going off on maternity leave from then, but would still like to offer a fun and hands on history experience for your classroom!

Each session will be roughly 45-50 minutes (possibly a little longer depending on questions etc), and will include a short intro, 1 activity, discussions, showing items, a Q and A, and end with me setting a challenge to the class that can be completed whenever you’d like.

VICTORIANS
CELTS
ROMANS
CHILDREN OF THE MINES
EGYPTIANS
PIRATES
MEDIEVAL
