A piece of pretty fabric
Cut 2 each of 2 pieces
Overlock front & back tog inner & outer seam Repeat with 2nd leg
Do a magic thing with one leg inside the other
Stitch from front to back through crotch
Hem legs
Make casing for elastic at waistband
Thread elastic through
Wear with pride

Stunning!

This cord pinafore dress is such a beautiful mustard yellow. The deep neckline and oversized armholes don't have facings, using a neat bias binding instead. Bias edges are not the quickest to do but definitely worth the faff. What a stunning dress!

Amazingly neat quilting lines on this mat finished in class yesterday. It was first marked up with a heat erasable pen, quilted then bound with the blue bias tape giving such a real pop of colour.

The sewing theme fabric is just perfect for this project, I'm sure you can see why I love sharing what our lovelies make in class ❤️
