This week in Gardening Club we have planted lots more vegetable plants, such as corn 🌽, tomatoes πŸ… and peppers. We also planted some more sunflowers 🌻.

Inspired by our English text for this half term - 'Somebody Swallowed Stanley' - Deers class have produced their own posters about plastic pollution and how to save the sea creatures! 🐒🌍

To start, we wrote our own plastic pledges and learned a lot about how plastic in the ocean is harming the creatures that live there. We then learned about what we can do to help, including recycling our plastic, reusing the plastic that we have and making sure we put our rubbish in the bins.

We thought it was important that we spread the news! Take a look at some of the posters that they have made. Make sure you keep an eye out around school too - the children were very proud to display them around the school!
