I have space on the Foundation GCSE lesson 5-6pm on Mondays and the Higher GCSE lesson 5-6pm on Tuesdays. £10 per lesson.

I've also set up an instagram account called jpmathstuition where I'll be posting GCSE style questions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please feel free to follow - I won't follow students back, obviously.

I’ve set up a jpmathstuition Instagram account.
My intention is to write and upload three GCSE style questions on a Monday, Wednesday and a Friday.
There’ll be a foundation one, a foundation/higher one and a higher one.
I’ll put the answers to the last ones on when I upload the new ones.
This will hopefully help students with revision.

Due to students being back at school and no longer able to attend lessons, I have a couple of vacancies in my online GCSE maths lessons (the private tuition slots are all full).

Foundation lesson Monday 5-6pm

Higher lesson (grades 6-7) Tuesday 5-6pm

The lessons have two other Year 11 students in them, are taught on Microsoft Teams and are £10 a session.

I am offering some small group online GCSE maths lessons starting next week.
On Monday at 5pm, I will be teaching a GCSE foundation session.
On Tuesday at 5pm, I will be teaching a GCSE higher session (for students aiming for a grade 5 or 6).
And on Wednesday at 5pm, I will be teaching a GCSE higher plus session (for students aiming for a grade 7 or above).
I am also offering a small group 'Bridging the Gap' lesson on Monday at 3:30pm for current year 11 students who plan to study A level maths next year, to help them prepare for this.
The lessons last an hour and are delivered on microsoft teams, they cost £10 per student and there will be a maximum of 6 students per group.

I am offering online GCSE and A level maths tuition.
I am based in Donington le Heath and am happy to change this to face-to-face tuition once lockdown has ended (for local people).
I have 14 years teaching experience, have worked with dyscalculic students and am an AQA examiner.
I will send the student either a past paper, or questions on a specific topic prior to the lesson. They will then complete them and return them to me via email or Microsoft teams and I will mark these and plan the hours tuition session in a way that will help them address any difficulties they are having. I prefer to use Microsoft teams (you can download it for free) as it supports child protection well, but am happy to discuss this.

I’ve set up this page to support my online tuition (www.jpmathstuition.com). I’m hoping that I’ll be able to lesson material and tips on here, as I suspect students will be learning more independently for a while yet.
