The Hive Café and Bakery has won GOLD in the the national 2020 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. During an online ceremony, the popular community hub claimed the top prize in the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism category, recognising tourism businesses committed to being sustainable, responsible and ethical in how they operate and interact with customers, the wider community and the environment. We are extremely grateful that ABF The Soldiers’ Charity has recognised the value of our new Fold Family Centre in North Yorkshire. They have provided a grant of over £17,000 to develop the Fold Community Garden and activities to support military families dealing with deployment, trauma or injury.

Thank you to ABF The Soldiers' Charity, here starts a journey of growth in more ways than one!

We are delighted to award Ruskin Mill Land Trust a grant of more than £17,000 to help build the Fold Community Garden which will help military families enjoy precious time together.

The Ruskin Mill Land Trust was established in 1996 and works to transform land and property into tranquil, beautiful spaces for local communities.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. We were delighted that the New Standard Works was shortlisted in two categories in the West Midlands Awards and was awarded Highly Commended for Community Benefit at the Awards Ceremony at Birmingham Botanic Gardens on 8 May 2019.

We are grateful to the fantastic design and construction team, especially our architect Richard Woods from Urban Fabric, Project Manager Sally Walters from Armsons, and David Gaskin and team from Davlyn Construction. Well done to all.
