👨‍🎓👩‍🎓As Mrs Elliott said looking out to the room - we look forward to watching you grow and are excited and inspired to share your journey. A room of potential, with future doctors, builders, teachers, chefs, engineers, lawyers, musicians, film makers - and so much more...including those roles that don't even exist yet!

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

A reminder that from September 2026 free school meals have been expanded so all children from households receiving Universal Credit may be eligible for a free school meal, regardless of house hold earnings.

It is important that all families register, even if your child already receives free school meals.

You should register using this portal: https://fsm.lgfl.net/

To complete an application you will need

· Your name and date of birth

· Contact details

· National Insurance Number (or National Asylum Seeker Number, where applicable)

· Your child’s name and date of birth

· Details of the school your child attends or will attend

Registering will enable the school to access additional funding to support your child’s education a

🫶We're looking forward to welcoming our Year 7 & Year 12 students on Monday and seeing the whole of back together on Tuesday.

🩵Year 7 Students
Should arrive at 8.20am via the Student Entrance (which is the pathway on the left as you face the school) and head to the Atrium.
Unless there is a special circumstance - parents should remain off site. Students will be issued with paper timetables in school and should bring a packed lunch.

💜Year 12 Students
Will access the school via the Community Entrance from 9am, they will head to the GLT for a 9.15 start.

👌We hope that you're feeling refreshed and ready for all the brilliant things 2026-27 will bring!

🥳Congrats to our Year 13s - who in true style have achieved so much! Some fantastic headline results, but dig deeper and you'll see some truly exceptional stories and successes - with a fantastic provisional 'value added' figure we couldn't be more proud of all of your achievements.

Congratulations to Mrs Davies & Mr Houghton on completing Qualified Teacher Status! These two have worked hard throughout their apprenticeship - and we will be keeping their talent within the The Wessex Learning Trust as they move in to their first roles. Well done!
