Offering A-level Maths and Further Maths tuition in my own home or online via Zoom. Having one-to-one tuition will help to identify areas of weakness which may be holding back progression and should increase confidence allowing students to tackle questions they previously would have ‘given up on’. Tuition can help all students from those struggling to get a grade E to those targeting an A*. Click

on 'Reviews' to see testimonials from recent Students and their Parents. Lessons can be for 45 minutes (currently £30) or 1 hour (currently £35) either weekly or fortnightly.

Beware of scams!
If you see an exam paper or question before an exam, it’s probably fake.

Make sure you don’t share it as you could be disqualified.

Report it to your teacher or exams officer.

Students say it is easy to find accounts falsely claiming to have access to GCSE and A-level papers.

Revision Advice:

There is no right or wrong way to revise – you have to find what works for you.
However, for Maths you really do need to actually do questions (ideally exam style questions) and not just read and learn lots of ‘facts’.
I came across this tweet recently that has a plan I think would work well for most people:
https://x.com/mathsaurus/status/1771546836425212288

And this advice from is also worth taking on board:

Remember to use mark schemes and worked solutions sensibly.
They can be really helpful – for example to see how marks are awarded, to pick up on silly mistakes or get a hint about how to start a question.
But don’t just blindly copy the solutions and assume you will then be able to do it next time – make sure you understand the method so you could apply it to a different question.
If you don’t understand the solution add it to your list of topics that need more work.
