On-Target Tutoring Primary and Secondary Tutors in North Somerset. We aim to make the session educational, engaging, enjoyable and targeted for maximum progress and success.

On-Target Tutors was established in the summer of 2023 to provide quality tutoring for students across North Somerset, operating from our base in Nailsea. Now approaching our 4th year of tutoring, growing from 2 to 3 tutors, we are excited to announce we will be offering tutoring for primary aged pupils in the Street and Glastonbury area from September 2025, provided by David Aavramides, an experienced teacher and tutor. At On-Target Tutoring we tailor everything to your child's needs and educational requirements to help close any gaps, improve their confidence and enable them to reach their full potential. Run by two highly experienced and qualified KS2 teachers, we can offer exceptional primary and secondary tuition in maths and English. All of our tutors have experience of teaching a diverse range of pupils and needs during their teaching careers, across all national curriculum subjects, which can also be taught if required. We can provide 1:1 tuition, in pairs or small groups, and also siblings together at the same time, either in person or online. We are now also offering our services to home educated pupils, we can support you with subjects across the curriculum, from KS1 to KS4. It was great to see lots of familiar faces, as well as a few new ones, last week as tutoring resumed.

I am now in a position to offer my services to home educated pupils in North Somerset and South Bristol. This could be 1:1, pairs or in small groups, during the day time, and I can cover the whole curriculum in a creative and engaging way. I recently started with a year 9 pupil and we do an hour a week covering history and maths, he chooses the topics we do.
I am a former deputy-head teacher at a local primary school, with 20 years teaching experience, and I have been tutoring for the last 3 years. Please see our page for more details.
