These pictures sum up the juggle for me. These are the only professional photos I have. At the time I thought they were not ideal but now I realise they are perfect.

It was not by design that the small child in these pictures is mine. Or that in my profile pic he's three yet sat on several books pretending to be a teenager. Or that behind the scenes is my 12 month old being held by my business partner. But I was a full time mum with a new business - where else were they going to go?

Along for the ride.

I look at these now and they remind me that my businesses and my working life has always been designed with them first. They are the middle piece of the jigsaw and my work life balance is right because of that. Parents out there juggling this, I see and salute you.

I'm really looking forward to talking to fellow parents about the juggle struggle and making time for us on March 22nd. Join us. Link in comments.
