Hello 👋🏼
We need your help

We are looking at helping our playrooms develop different areas within their garden and inside the playroom.

We are starting to create mud kitchens in the garden alongside introducing arts and crafts resources.

Our 4 playrooms have been having discussions with the children and asking them their thoughts and what they would like.

Here are some of the things the kids have mentioned and talk about often -
Pots
Pans
Shovels
Spades
Diggers
Rakes

If anyone has any of these or any other items they don’t use the nursery would absolutely be delighted to take them off your hands and I’m sure all our little people would be super happy too.

Thanks as always, if anyone has anything pop us a message 🥰

Well done to the gang of youths running around Pinkie Braes terrorising residents, innocent children & their pets. We hope you are proud of yourselves.

Idiotic behaviour does not even touch what you have been up to.

Seems that you think it’s ok to:

Throw fireworks at busses
Throw fireworks at each other
Abuse adults when you are challenged
Let fireworks go off in your hands
Throw fireworks at cars on MacBeth Moir Road.

We wonder who your parents will blame when you are maimed for life all because you had access to fireworks and though it was ok to play with them.

They are not toys.
They are explosives and in the wrong hands have life changing consequences.

Running & marauding around the area isn’t really on. It’s only a matter of time before you hurt someone or yourselves. Give your head a wobble and wise up.

5 minutes of stupidity may have life long consequences for you and your victims.

Please like & share as wide as possible.

Parents need to be asking their pre teen /early teen children where have they been tonight! Especially those young boys who are running about with black face covering on.

It’s your community, how about respecting it! 😡

Two nights…two broken windows. Really not acceptable. Whoever you are, can you just stop what you are doing please. 9 years and no vandalism, now this. Why? What have we done to you? It’s not smart, it’s not clever, it’s just very very sad that you think it’s okay to do this.

Is this how you get your kicks? Vandalising other people’s property? We hope your parents are very proud of you!

Just so as you know, you are a star on our cctv and we’ve handed over the footage to the police.

To say we are gutted is an understatement. This is more money we will have to pay out all because a selfish thug thought they would give themselves and their mates a laugh at our expense.

If you live in the area and saw anything please let us know.

Please like and share this as wide as possible so we can embarrass the vandal(s) who did this and hope we can catch them before they do anymore serious damage.

We are presuming it’s the same group who are spending their evenings terrorising local residents too…please just stop the impacts of your behaviour go beyond the in the moment high you are getting from your anti social behaviour.

What you do impacts on everyone in our extended community even back to your own family! Just stop it please, and grow up. Your actions have consequences.

If you see any suspicious activity please call 999 and report it to the police. We have to nip this in the bud.

Let’s all celebrate our fantastic nursery practitioners at Almond Park Nursery and all settings in Scotland.

Our practitioners do a wonderful job educating our children from the minute they join us until they go on to the primary phase at school. They nurture, care and educate our children, without them we would all be lost. They support our families when they need it most.

All our practitioners are awesome.

Thank you for what you do.

Our Bluebell Room 🦋

Bluebell Room is a space for children of ages 3-5 years to explore, learn, thrive and succeed in their interests and abilities. In the Bluebell Room we are play based, this allows the children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity and physical, cognitive and emotional strength. For our pre- schoolers we provide low open shelving to promote their independence and choice. We set up clear defined interest areas to promote engagement and imaginary play. We also provide a variety of materials which help keep children engaged and let's them be creative and expressive in their own way. We have recently set up a new sensory Room to encourage self regulation and to give all children a quiet space where they can choose to go to relax. Our main priority is to have happy, healthy children who are learning and succeeding. We ensure this by becoming tuned into the children's needs and feelings 💙
