This is the page of Campie Primary School Parent Council and Parent Forum as we search for new ways to stay in touch with everyone about events at the school. We won't discuss individuals - this is a community page so everyone must play nice!!! What are the main responsibilities of the PC to the Parent Forum? The Parent Forum can expect the following from the Parent Forum:
To receive inf

ormation about the PC and its activities
To be invited to be involved in PC activities, such as subcommittees
To be asked for their opinion by the PC on issues relating to the school community
To participate in how the PC is organised and how it operates, for example making changes to the constitution

What are the main duties of the Parent Council? The first duty of the Parent Council is to represent the views of the parents at the school. The duties of a Parent Council are not laid down in legislation so it is up to each Parent Forum to decide what they want their PC to do. There are many things a Parent Council could get involved in, including:
Supporting the work of the school, for example, by advising the school on its policies
Being involved in the appointment of senior staff
Organising social and fundraising events
Promoting contact between all parents and the rest of the school community
Discussing anything that’s of interest to parents

🚨 LOST/TAKEN SCOOTER – MUSSELBURGH 🚨

A parent has been in touch to say that E’s scooter was accidentally left at the bike rails in the playground on Friday. It was locked up with a pink lock, but unfortunately it has now disappeared. 😔

It’s a purple Micro scooter with a pink lock attached.

They’re wondering if anyone has spotted it around Musselburgh over the weekend, as it’s possible it may have been taken and then dumped somewhere nearby.

We harvested some of our Campie playground vegetables today. 🥔🥕We hope you enjoy them if you took some home. 😋 We have entered some in the Musselburgh Flower Show, it's tomorrow at 1pm if you'd like to come and see how we get on? Our homegrown potatoes and carrots will be in the school lunch soup on Tuesday too 👍

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming all our children and families back to school tomorrow, Wednesday 12th August! 💛📚

We hope everyone has had a lovely summer and is ready for another fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, friendship and lots of new adventures! 🌟

A special welcome to our new Primary 1 children and their families – we can’t wait to see you settle in and start your Campie journey! 🥰

And to our Primary 7s, this is your final year at Campie! Make it one to remember and enjoy every moment. 🏆💛

• Doors close at 9:00am
