Taking part in an Honours project at a primary school where I was able to teach children about the journey of food and food sustainability was another highlight." 🙌

"Who knew that Julie Andrews singing punk could start a career?” says Scottish comedian Craig Hall - QMU Acting graduate of 1994.

As part of QMU's 50 Years of Drama and Performance celebrations, our alumni team interviewed Craig about his student days and career!

Now a household name who has trodden the boards at venues globally from Edinburgh Fringe to Sydney Opera House, Craig has advice for any students looking to get started in the acting and comedy gig:

“Don’t be afraid to go off on a career tangent you didn’t expect, as it might be the best thing that ever happens to you. Oh, and two other things: (1) Say yes to everything - it’s always worth a try, and (2) If you are frightened of it, then it’s probably going to be good for you.”
