🌈Free Breakfast Club Opening at East Linton Primary School!🌈
ELOSCN is delighted to announce the opening of a free breakfast club, giving pupils the opportunity to start their school day with a healthy breakfast in a welcoming and supportive environment.
This will be based from within East Linton Primary School Gym hall.
The Breakfast Club which has funding for the 2026/27 academic year, will be open to pupils at East Linton Primary School from Monday 17th August 2026 and will run Monday to Thursday from 7:30am until 9:00am until the end of June 2027.
As well as providing a nutritious breakfast, the club aims to create a relaxed and friendly environment where children can settle into the school day and arrive in class ready to learn.
The new provision aims to offer valuable support to parents and carers who may need an earlier start to the school day because of work, travel or other family commitments.
Parents and carers will be able to register their children in advance to attend the Breakfast Club via IPal. There is a one off registration fee of £35.00 (£28.00 if using Government Tax Free Scheme) to cover the admin cost of enrolment. If already registered with East Linton After School Club, this one off fee has already been paid and there will be no charge.
The club has been made possible thanks to Brighter Starts Breakfast Funding from Inspiring Scotland, which will fund the service for one year. This funding will also support a dedicated one-year post for two staff members to help deliver the breakfast club.
