Connections English I offer tailored 1-1 /group private online English lessons for learners of English as a second language ranging from complete beginner to more advanced level.

press yourself? If the answer is yes, you have come to the right place! Whether you are new to the UK and have English as a second language, or you are struggling to make yourself understood in English, I can help you through my online English classes. I am a fully trained languages teacher (French/German) with 20+ years experience in secondary education in the UK, as well as teaching English as a foreign language. I have a passion for teaching languages! ‘Connections English ’ focusses on delivering bespoke English classes to adults/young learners who have English as a second language. The aim is to enable learners to use English confidently in their everyday life, as well as improving their understanding of British customs and traditions. A wide range of needs and abilities are catered for, ranging from complete beginners to preparing learners to move onto accredited courses such as ESOL. Key components of the lessons include everyday topics, as well as practise of speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. Prior to lessons starting a free 30 minute consultation is offered to discuss learners’ needs so that lessons can be tailored appropriately. Each private English tuition session typically lasts for an hour to an hour and a half (negotiable). This is currently offered online using Zoom and the learning platform Edmodo.
