A very exciting day exploring the beach as the pirates of Mousehole! We set off with our maps, pirate hats and buckets and spades on the hunt for some buried treasure! Along the way we found lots of our sound of the week 'S' - seashells, starfish, seaweed, sand, ships and seagulls. Across the beach, we spotted a large 'X' and used our spades to dig out some amazing hidden jewels - what a find! We gathered our findings and walked back to school to share out our treasure haul with the whole pirate crew. Arghhhh!

We are very lucky to have such amazing spaces so close to our pre-school. We try and go on a learning adventure every day. We have fields all around us that give us the opportunity to run free and enjoy the outdoor freedom.
