☀️⚠️ Important Weather Update ⚠️☀️

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the setting tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd) and Thursday 24th due to the extreme heat weather warning that is currently in place.

The safety and wellbeing of our children and staff is always our top priority, and we feel this is the best decision to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable during these extreme temperatures.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding and support. We will continue to monitor the weather updates and keep you informed of any further changes.

A reminder to all parents and carers that we are closed next week for half term.

We will return back to the setting on 1st June.

🐣🌼 Easter Holidays Reminder 🌼🐣

A reminder that Friday 27th March will be our last day in the setting before the Easter holidays.

Children will return back to the setting on 13th April.

⚠️ Health Notice – Scarlet Fever ⚠️

We would like to make parents and carers aware that we currently have a case of scarlet fever within the setting.

Symptoms to look out for include:
• A high temperature
• Sore throat
• Swollen glands
• A red rash that feels like sandpaper
• A flushed face and/or pale area around the mouth

In line with our policy, children can return to the setting 24 hours after starting antibiotics, as long as they are well in themselves.

If your child is diagnosed with scarlet fever, please can you inform the setting as we are required to notify public health.

🐾✨ Stay & Play – Animal Encounter ✨🐾

The children, staff and parents all had a fantastic time at our Stay & Play session, and really enjoyed meeting all of the amazing animals!

The children loved being able to get up close and personal with some unusual animals, and some were even brave enough to hold and touch them 🐍🦎🐾

It was a lovely experience for everyone and great to see so many smiles and excitement throughout the session 💛

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising throughout the year. Without your support, these wonderful experiences would not be possible.

📚✨ World Book Day ✨📚

Today we are celebrating World Book Day and we have lots of lovely activities planned for the children!

Throughout the day we will be:
📖 Sharing and reading lots of stories
🎨 Taking part in book-themed crafts and activities
👗 Showing off our fantastic costumes and cosy pyjamas

We can’t wait to see all the children dressed up as their favourite book characters or in their comfy pyjamas and enjoy a fun day celebrating the joy of reading together! 💛📚

Today we are celebrating the Holi Festival at the setting!

The children will be taking part in lots of colourful fun activities, so please don’t be surprised if they are a little more colourful than usual at pick-up time 🎨

We’re excited to be celebrating World Book Day next Thursday, 5th March!

Children are welcome to come dressed as a character from their favourite book 📖 or wear their cosy pyjamas for a comfy reading day 💤

We can’t wait to see all of their fantastic outfits and share lots of lovely stories together! 💛
