Favours Day Nursery Moulton Children's Day Nursery for 0 - 8 year olds Favours Day Nursery is a family run nursery established in 1999.

We pride ourselves on our welcoming, warm atmosphere and strive to be a home from home for the children that we look after. We are open between 7.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year.

What a wonderful visitor for a Thursday afternoon! 🐑☀
The children got the opportunity to meet a 4 day old lamb brought over from Moulton College. The children decided to nickname it "little lamby" and discussed the colour, texture, what it ate/drank and where his Mummy was. We are so grateful to Megan at Moulton College for organising this visit 🥰

Role play within the Early Years supports the children as they develop into independent and creative people.

Our 'office role play' this week has supported the development of communication and language skills, team work, imagination, turn taking, social skills, and allows the children to make sense of the world around them 🖥

The children talked about how "Mummy & Daddy go to work", about what Miss Emma does in the office and even what they want to be when they grow up. Answering phone calls, writing letters, looking in books for information, making notes and using the 'computer', the children developed a new imaginary world to explore every day. Great work Preschool! 👏

What an exciting return to Nursery for our Children this week, being greeted with a Winter Wonderland of a garden! Both rooms have spent time exploring the snow over the last 2 days, looking at footprints, walking snowy trails, ice-painting and discovering new ways to move and interact with the space. These sensory rich experiences support children of all ages develop understanding of the world around them, as well as giving them lots of opportunities to use new language. And as you can see from the photographs, we have had some very happy children! Welcome back to Nursery everyone! ❄🌨☃

A huge thank you to Nickys Fancy Faces party for hosting our Preschool Christmas Party this week! The children have not stopped talking about it since 🥳 Highlights included: disco dancing, party games, group hide & seek, bubbles, parachute games & (most excitingly) a snow machine! ❄ Also, thank you to the 45 parents who joined us for a post-party mince pie - we always love having you 🎅🏻 Merry Christmas Preschool 💕

Yesterday was our Babies Christmas Party! 🎅🚂 The children went on a "Polar Express Themed Adventure", using their 'tickets' to get onto the 'train', they had hot cocoa and biscuits, listened to stories and of course, ended the party with music and dancing! 🥳 Merry Christmas Babies! 💕

We believe in talking about our feelings, and discussing how we can use our words to 'make someones day'. This way, we create children who are empathetic, thoughtful and become friends for life 💕
