A great place for a visit.

It's launch day! Our exhibition 'Discovering the Chemical Industry Around Us' at the Lion Salt Works is up and running and on until 31 August.

This exhibition is led by the children of our Salty Saturday STEM club, showcasing what they have learned, discovered and created focusing on our local chemical industry. The Royal Society of Chemistry supported our project with funding, resources and advice.

Put on your lab coat and dig for ancient artefacts; try to stop houses collapsing with our giant subsidence Jenga; meet local hero John Brunner. Join us in exploring Northwich’s chemical industries – past, present and future!

Try your hand at our STEM trail around the museum too! Explore the museum, find the objects, and answer questions to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths. You might even win a prize too.
