A's Maths Tutoring

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to come on and say that I have given up my 1-2-1 tutoring completely. It has been a great journey however after taking on a new job and gaining more responsibility in my new role I cannot offer the same level of service and quality in my 1-2-1‘s.

I will be continuing my online platform. This has done exceptionally well this year and I have the ability to work around my crazy work hours.

Hey Everyone, I know I have been quiet on here for sometime but I am excited to announce that I will be taking my tutoring online very soon! I have been so busy with messages and people asking for 1-2-1, I have taken some time to put together a system where I can be helpful to students without them needing to come and see me for 1-2-1. I will be making this available on top of my 1-2-1.

Here is a peak at what will be available with the online platform. I am almost completed with Higher Maths and I will be working on Nat5 very soon.

Today is exam results day! Well done to everyone who got through them all through the COVID 19 times 👏🏾 To those who are feeling disheartened from the results, I know exactly what it feels like to not get what you had expected from yourself and feel like a great disappointment 😢

But the lesson here is that your exam results don’t define you and you will move on and get on with life!

It’s the start of the new term soon!

Maths can be challenging and difficult for a lot of students. However the earlier you start preparing the more time you have to master it.

A lot of students will be receiving marks and will be disappointed. Just bear in mind the circumstances with COVID this year and that nothing went accordingly. It’s okay to be disappointed and it’s also okay to try again.

We all know maths isn’t fun sometimes and all you want to do is get through an exam. I totally understand this feeling 💁🏾‍♀️

However if you don’t put the work in how do you expect to see results? Preparation is key, you need to be working at it most days if you want to achieve the best grade possible.

Hi Everyone!

Despite the schools being shut for another few weeks this is no time to slack off!

My tutee Sophie has worked so hard over the last few weeks and has managed to push her grade up from the 40’s right up to 82% in Higher Maths!

She’s ready for anything the school will throw at her when she goes back whether it’s prelims or tests which will then be used as evidence for her final grade 👩‍🏫
