This week we are delivering GQA Level 1 in Construction Health & Safety, CSCS, and CISRS COTS Training at HMP Holme House. 👷‍♂️📚

A huge thank you to BS Scaffolding Ltd, CASTLE SCAFFOLD (NORTHERN) LIMITED, Interlink Scaffolding Ltd., and Palmers Scaffolding UK Limited for taking the time to come and meet with the learners this morning.

We are especially grateful for the potential job opportunities offered to the men upon their release. Supportive employers play a vital role in creating positive futures and helping individuals successfully transition back into employment.

We also greatly appreciate the positive feedback on the delivery of the courses. Partnerships like these make a real difference, and we couldn’t do what we do without the continued support of employers who believe in giving people a second chance.

We are proud to have recently provided GQA, CSCS and Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) training for 12 prisoners who have now secured employment opportunities through the Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) rehabilitation scheme.

These individuals will be going out to work while continuing to serve their sentences, helping them transition back into society with valuable skills, structure, and real employment experience.

The benefits of the ROTL scheme are significant: ✅ Introducing prisoners into a real working environment
✅ Helping establish routine and responsibility
✅ Building confidence and employability
✅ Supporting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending
✅ Creating opportunities for a more positive future

We are proud to play a part in supporting rehabilitation through training, opportunity, and employment pathways.

This week we’ve successfully supported 11 prison leavers into employment — an achievement that represents more than just job placements. It’s about second chances, rebuilding lives, and creating real pathways back into society.

The construction industry needs reliable, trained labour. There are individuals coming through our programme who are qualified, motivated, and ready to prove themselves.
