Young children can burn themselves very quickly at home.

Hot drinks, hair straighteners, and cooking areas can all be dangerous for young children.

This video shows how hot hair straighteners can get — hot enough to cook bacon and eggs!

Safety tips:
• Keep hot drinks out of reach
• Store hair straighteners safely after use
• Keep children away from hot ovens and pans
