✨🏰 DISNEYLAND PARIS… HERE WE COME! 🏰✨

Safe travels and the very best of luck to our wonderful CAST. families making their way to Disneyland Paris over the coming days! 🇫🇷✨

After more than a year of auditions, rehearsals, preparation and excitement, the moment is finally here. This weekend, our students will take part in the incredible Disney Performing Arts On Stage programme on Saturday, followed by the magic of the Disneyland Paris Parade on Sunday. 🌟

An amazing 135 members of our CAST. family are travelling to Paris for what promises to be a truly unforgettable weekend. ❤️

Trips like this take an enormous amount of planning behind the scenes, and I’d like to say a huge thank you to Veronique and Andrea at Disneyland®️Paris for Groups Perform In The Magic for all of their help and support in organising our adventure.

Thank you also to the amazing Karina Lucy Brown and Ashley Stirling-Hassan for their creativity and input into our performances, and to Sarah | Virtual Business Support , our Executive Assistant, my wonderful parents John & June Cowell and my friends and colleagues Carrie Brown and Caitlin Gaff for the countless hours of help behind the scenes. Thank you to our lovely Doreen for making sure everybody’s costumes fit perfectly. Thank you to Dee Dowling at Ginger Studios for all of your help and support with our tracks for the stage show. ✨

And, of course, thank you to our students and families for your commitment, enthusiasm and trust throughout this whole journey. We cannot wait to see you experience everything you have worked so hard for.

The stage is set, the parade route awaits… and all we need now is faith, trust and a little pixie dust. ✨🧚

Give your child an unforgettable week of singing, dancing and acting with two exceptional guest coaches whose careers span the West End, television, world tours and international productions.

✨ Meet Your Coaches

⭐ Mark Ellison
Performed alongside Take That, Rita Ora, Pixie Lott, Ellie Goulding and The Pussycat Dolls, with television appearances including Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor, The Royal Variety Performance and the Elton John biopic Rocketman.

⭐ Matthew Jay Ryan
Current International Director of Paw Patrol Live! with West End credits including Titanic the Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Wind in the Willows and many more. Matthew has directed and performed around the world and brings a wealth of professional experience to every session.

🎬 Throughout the week students will work on a variety of exciting musical theatre and commercial performance pieces before showcasing everything they've learned in an informal performance for family and friends on Friday at 4.00pm.

🎄 A Very Merry CAST.MAS is BACK for 2026! 🎄

✨ Students (aged 6+), parents, family members and adults are all invited to take part! ✨

Following the incredible success of last year's festive production, we're delighted to announce that A Very Merry CAST.MAS is returning this Christmas!

In 2025 our amazing cast performed at the Morpeth Christmas Lights Switch-On, St Mary's Christmas Fair and two sell-out performances at Alnwick Playhouse. This year we're back with an even bigger festive celebration!

With limited stage space, places are expected to fill quickly, so don't leave it too long to sign up!

As another incredible Summer Showcase comes to a close, my heart is so full.

To our amazing dancers… thank you. Thank you for your commitment, your hard work, your resilience and for the joy you bring to the stage.

To our wonderful families, thank you for trusting us to care for, teach and inspire your children.

To our incredible volunteers - our chaperones, front of house team, fundraising team, costume heroes and everyone who gives up their own time behind the scenes - thank you. Quite simply, these shows would not happen without you, and they certainly wouldn’t run as smoothly as they do. Your generosity, kindness and hard work make an enormous difference.

A huge thank you to everyone at Alnwick Playhouse, especially John and Andy Hunt. You both go above and beyond every single year to make our shows look and sound spectacular. Your professionalism, support and attention to detail are second to none, and we are so grateful. You are both magnificent.

To my own family, and to the entire CAST. team… thank you. Teamwork really does make the dream work. I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside such talented, dedicated people, and I’d like to give a special thank you to our wonderful dance teachers and choreographers Karina Lucy Brown, Emily, Caitlin Gaff and Josie Rigg. I am so fortunate to call you not only colleagues but friends. The creativity, passion and genuine care you pour into every child is extraordinary and it’s what makes CAST. so special.

With Summer Showcase now complete, another term comes to an end. We can’t wait to see many of you over the summer at our camps, Legally Blonde rehearsals and Disney rehearsals.

Then it’s on to one of the biggest adventures in the CAST. calendar as we head to Disneyland Paris at the end of August to perform on a Disney stage and in the parade! After that we’ll be straight into our annual musical productions of Legally Blonde and Matilda in October, before finishing the year with A Very Merry CAST.MAS! 🎄✨

For now though… have the most wonderful summer. Make memories, laugh lots, enjoy time with your families and take some well-earned rest.

We’ll be counting down the days until we welcome everyone back on 4th September… but first, let’s all recharge.
