🌍 Amazing Upcycling Projects from Year 6! 🌍

We have been so impressed by the fantastic upcycling projects our Year 6 pupils have created!

As part of our sustainability learning in Personal Development, pupils have been exploring the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials and making environmentally friendly choices.

The children have put an incredible amount of hard work, creativity and effort into their projects, transforming everyday items into something new and useful!

We are so proud of their imagination, enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive difference to our planet.

Well done, Year 6 – what a fantastic effort!

We are sharing our Bookopoly book lists for Years 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Pupils are encouraged to read as many books as possible and complete a review for each one. Every book read and review completed helps their class progress around the Bookopoly board.

The challenge is on to see which classes can read and review the most books by Easter!

There are some fantastic rewards to work towards. The pupil in each class who reads and reviews the most books will be rewarded with a trip to Waterstones. The winning class in each year group will enjoy a non-uniform day!

We hope pupils will enjoy discovering new books, sharing their opinions and developing a love of reading.

Bookopoly is off to a flying start this year, with some classes already racing ahead!

☕ KS2 SEND Parents and Carers Coffee Morning ☕

We would love to welcome our KS2 parents and carers to our SEND Coffee Morning on Thursday 8th October, 9.15–10.45am in the School Hall.

Come along for a cuppa, an informal chat and the opportunity to connect with other parents and carers. Mrs Hamilton, our SENDCo, will be available to talk to, alongside members of our pastoral support team.

Year 5 science club started this week and pupils enjoyed making magic milk patterns! Pupils were excited to share their creations with friends and family at home. We look forward to seeing more pupils at next week’s session on Tuesday.
