💙 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! 🧵✂️
Today marked the end of another fantastic children’s sewing class at The Creative Studio, and we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the children (and parents!) who have supported us. 🥰
We’ve loved watching the children learn new skills, gain confidence and, most importantly, have fun making things they can be proud of! 🧵✨
Sewing is about so much more than making something pretty. It helps children develop:
🧠 Concentration & problem-solving – following instructions and working out how pieces fit together
✋ Fine motor skills – threading needles, cutting fabric and controlling the sewing machine
💪 Confidence & independence – learning that they can make something themselves
🎨 Creativity – choosing fabrics, colours and adding their own personal touches
⏳ Patience & perseverance – learning that sometimes things go wrong… and that’s OK!
❤️ A sense of achievement – there’s nothing quite like saying “I made that!”
And, of course, they’re learning a skill they can take with them for life. 🥰
✂️ AFTER-SCHOOL SEWING CLUBS ARE BACK!
Our after-school clubs start again on Wednesday 2nd September, and we currently have spaces available on:
📅 Mondays
📅 Wednesdays
📅 Thursdays
🕞 3:30–5pm
👧🧒 Suitable for ages 8+
💷 £8 per session
The children work on sewing projects throughout the term, building their skills as they go — perfect for complete beginners as well as those who already love sewing.
If you’ve got a budding little maker at home, we’d love to welcome them to The Creative Studio! 💙
