That’s a wrap on our final week with NET 360 CIC !
I’ve loved working with them during weeks 1 and 5 of the summer holidays, providing colourful, nutritious lunches to keep the children fuelled for their busy camp days.

It’s been great seeing the children get involved with preparing their own food too. We really believe in giving children the opportunity to learn simple food skills, build confidence and become more independent.

Thank you for having me! I’ve loved being part of it!

Oh and we finished the week with a lovely treat, chocolate biscuit smores for pudding! 🍮

I hope everyone’s summer is going well! ☀️

We’ve had a great first week of the holidays. I’ve been at work all week (apart from Friday!), and while I was working the kids have been keeping busy too. Aimee & Mili loved their time at Longsands Surf School, Aimee loved Tennis Camp with her friends at NET 360 CIC , while Mili had a brilliant time at Grass Roots Camp. Then on Friday, we all headed to Preston Park with girls’ friends!

Oh and Aimee’s coloured her hair pink!! 💞

I’ve also been making a conscious effort to leave reviews for the places and businesses we’ve enjoyed visiting. As a small business owner myself, I know just how much a review can mean. They really do make a difference, so if you’ve had a great experience somewhere this summer, take a couple of minutes to leave them some kind words - it’s one of the best ways to support local businesses. ❤️

We’ve had a colourful day 1 with the children at NET 360 CIC Holiday Club!

Today we made rainbow pasta pots, packed with green, red, yellow and purple veggies, before finishing with refreshing fruit kebabs full of juicy watermelon, strawberries, grapes and banana. 🌈

A balanced lunch like this gives children plenty of energy for an active afternoon of tennis, games and fun, while helping them stay fuelled and hydrated in the summer sunshine. ☀️

Long post 🍿!!!

And just like that… another term is over 🥹❤️

I always feel a little emotional at the end of a term, but especially at this time of year. (Not going to lie, I’ve been in denial this week)

I just want to say the biggest thank you to every mum, dad, grandma and grandad who brings their gorgeous Foodies through my doors each week. Whether you’ve been coming for just a few weeks, a few terms, or you’ve been with me for years… thank you. ❤️

One of the loveliest parts of doing what I do is getting to know your children. Watching the tiny, shy ones slowly find their confidence. Seeing them learn new skills, try things they never thought they would, make friends, laugh, make an enormous mess 😂 and grow up right in front of me.

And I get to know all of you too. The chats before and after class, the stories, the little updates on your lives… it all becomes such a special part of my week. 🥹

Some of my Foodies come for just a little while, and others stay for years. Some I’ve known since they were tiny, and suddenly they’re off to start Reception… or even heading to middle school! 😭❤️ I don’t think I’ll ever quite get used to how quickly it all goes.

To those heading off on new adventures in September, I hope you have the most wonderful summer and absolutely love the next chapter. I’ll miss seeing some of your faces every week, but I feel so lucky that I got to be a little part of your childhood.

And what a way to finish our term… CAKE & SPRINKLES!

Thank you for coming back term after term. Thank you for recommending me to your friends, supporting my business and allowing me to do a job that genuinely means so much to me.

Have the happiest summer, everyone. Make lots of memories, eat lots of ice cream and enjoy every minute.

And to all of you coming back… I cannot WAIT to see those gorgeous faces again in September and hear all about your summer❤️

So much fun with our fun little foodies, I reckon we must have made at least a 1000 crackers!

Charlotte in our Thursday after school made 55, beautifully lined up and very uniform!

Next week is our last, before the summer holidays 😭 💔 but we’re going to have so much fun!! 🤩 💃🏻 🎉
