Next summer, Leeds will welcome the start of stage one of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift as the world's biggest women's professional cycle race comes to the city 🚲

If you'd like to volunteer at one of 2027's biggest sporting events, applications to become a JOY Maker are open until Tuesday 1 September.

Volunteers will receive training for a range of roles, including event operations support and spectator engagement. Applications are open to anyone aged 16 or over, with no previous volunteering experience required. Volunteers aged between 18 to 25 will also be eligible for a Readiness to Work scheme, which will provide employability skills training and career mentoring across multiple sectors.
