We have a special delivery! 👣💙

I am sure you will join the Ducklings team in congratulating Kayleigh and her family on the arrival of their beautiful little boy Alister.

Both Kayleigh and Alister are at home happy and healthy enjoying their time as a family and thank you all for your well wishes.

We are so proud to have another tiny Duckling joining our team. 👣💙

The children have had a magical morning using their imagination as they explore our activities. Making potions, catching bubbles, exploring our magic kingdom of dragons, unicorns and fairies. The children have used their gross motor skills to walk the Peter-pan plank, trying their best to not fall in to where the crocodile was hiding.

The children have enjoyed working together to take on the role of a princess👸 whilst being expressive and imaginative, sprinkling a little bit of humour in the mix.

The Solar Eclipse 🌑 ☀️

This afternoon Pre-School have been learning about the upcoming solar eclipse using their creative skills to create their own representation of the moon and light!

A big thankyou to everyone that came to our Summer Carnival last week to celebrate the end of term with us as well as our Preschool Graduates! 🎓

Toddlers have enjoyed this wonderful experience as we use our senses to feel, taste and listen to the Very hungry caterpillar story and explore the different fruit flavours. This was a lovely opportunity for us to talk about how food helps us to stay hydrated with water and electrolytes in this hot weather. The children really enjoyed this and shared their own ideas of what we eat our fruit for and what they thought it tasted like.

This week we have been exploring many different cooling activities throughout each room ensuring we are all kept nice and cool in the warm weather☀️

This month in our Baby room has been full of a variety of activities such as water, ice, play dough and sensory trays.

Some of the babies have been showing interest in roleplaying where they were rocking the babies and feeding them!

These activities have helped them develop a wide range of skills. 🌟

Today the babies have enjoyed a lovely water activity to help keep us cool in this warm weather! ☀️

We had lots of fun splashing around and using the water cups to pour the water onto our hands and feet whilst exploring a variety of textures!

This week Toddlers have been expressing their creative skills using a number of tools with a variety of mark making activities.

We have been building our fine and gross motor skills using our bodies in a variety of ways whilst engaging in conversation based around colour and texture.
