An emotional day today as we close the door to Emily’s for the very last time 😭Over the last 8 and a half years we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming 36 children into our home. We’ve loved every minute of it! Watching little ones develop their personalities, reach milestones and learn new skills has been a real honour. We’ve made lifelong friends along the way and the wonderful feedback you gave us, as well as glowing recommendations, allowed my business to flourish. I can’t thank you all enough 😘We will miss the noise, chatter, cuddles and laughs but most of all seeing those little faces each day. Thank you Mummy’s and Daddy’s for choosing us and allowing your children to become a part of our family. We wish you all the best and hope to catch up with you again soon # # #

The children have enjoyed lots of Easter themed craft: painting chicks, decorating eggs, glueing fluffy bunnies, baking biscuits and making yummy chocolate nests 🐣🍫🐇 We’ve had fun at the park, our usual toddler groups, the sensory room and today we’ve had lunch out followed by soft play

We had a fab time at the sensory room this morning. So much for the children to explore and see

We had a very important mission this morning - stocking up on Easter Eggs 🐣😋

This last week we’ve had lots of fun dressing up and celebrating World Book Day 📖📚The children enjoyed making Ladybird biscuits, colouring in and reading lots and lots of books 🐞We also re-enacted Going on A Bear hunt 🐻and squelched through the mud at the park in our wellies

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful Mummy’s 💐

We’ve enjoyed lots of baby snuggles and cuddles this week with 2 new little ones joining us 😍The bigger boys and girls have loved fussing over them and showing them all of our toys.
We’ve also had fun at soft play, the park, our dance class and usual toddler groups.
Next week is world book day (Thursday 7th) 📚📖we’ll be reading lots of lovely stories all week and of course dressing up as our favourite characters. Children are more than welcome to bring in books/props/dressing up from home

This week we’ve bid farewell to Ariya as she embarks on a new journey at nursery. Good luck from all your little friends at Emily’s. It’s been lovely knowing you 😊
We had a little tea party complete with mini cakes to say goodbye. We’ve also had lots of fun playing in the tent this week. It’s been a reading den, a castle, a prison and a good hiding place. The children have enjoyed their dance class, building with bricks, being in the garden and having the Barbies out

Belated birthday wishes for this little lady who turned 5 over half term 🥳She had a fantastic party with her friends (I snook in too😁) but we wanted to celebrate here as well. So at her request, tonight we made yummy chocolate crispy cakes 😋
