A very happy 21st Birthday to Jasmin. 🎂

This summer we are reminding parents and guardians not to give slush ice drinks containing glycerol to children aged 4 or below, and free refill promotions should not be offered to children under 10.

This is due to the presence of glycerol in slush ice drinks, which can cause headaches and sickness in younger children if consumed in excess.

Our children today enjoyed a trip to Williamsons Park. They visited the mini zoo and Butterfly house, played on the parks, they enjoyed hill rolling had a picnic and had fun on the bus journeys.

All the children over the coming weeks will enjoy a trip off site, we look forward to learning and making more memories 🥰

The children enjoyed watering the plants to keep them hydrated. 🥰

Watering plants gives children a hands on way to learn about life cycles supporting their understanding of the world.

Pouring the water supports childrens fine motor skills while also encouraging problem solving, turn taking, care and empathy and teaching them responsibility.

Some of our children enjoyed a lovely morning making soda bread, it smelt amazing. 🥰

Baking bread with children fosters creativity and learning. This activity allows them to explore textures and smells. We can see their happy faces as they help mix and shape the dough. This great process helps develop fine motor skills and patience. Plus, enjoying warm, fresh bread together creates the best moments! 🧡
