From everything I've seen, Dolly Parton was a phenomenal human. So many great attributes, and the one that most resonates with us here at 4Elements is her GENEROSITY.

Generosity of spirit, generosity of heart, generosity with her resources. With September 25th (Nine - Two (To) - Five when the date is written the US way) becoming a day to remember Dolly and all she brought to the world, we think supporting her Imagination Library initiative is a great way to honour her.

That support might be giving to one of the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library projects, sharing this post with others you know, or taking inspiration to "be more Dolly" in whatever way sits best for you.

More happy smiling faces after a day of giving & receiving awesome Zero Strain Massage!

Big congrats to Wendy (at left) and Jayne (at right) for completing our "intro to 4Elements" one day course, Dynamics of Depth. Tish (centre) of Masters Massage : Healing Touch was their tutor - and Wendy & Jayne clearly had a fabulous day!

Jayne says, “A fabulous introduction to the 4Elements approach. A great mix of training and practice. A lovely, nurturing treatment. Tish made the course interesting and valuable. Can’t wait to practice this treatment on clients and family.”

and Wendy says, "I found giving the treatment very relaxing, different to any other Massage, and zero strain is how I found it. Tish delivered the course extremely well. I know I will use Dynamics of Depth in my every day work. Was a very relaxing treatment to give and receive.”

..and so much more.

The Reality Check is exactly that: the opportunity for therapists to get laser-focused, tailored & individualised feedback from their peers and trainers in a supportive environment.

This particular course felt even more special. The mud stirring (sorry for the jargon: if you know you know, and if not, "mud stirring" refers to something combining service, commitment, focus and a bundle more) was phenomenal. There was an intense focus - and yet a lightness as we each lean on each other for support when we needed it - and offer support when we could.

Truly: I'm blown away. Absolutely every human in these photos surprised and delighted me in ways I never could have expected. And yes, I do include myself in that! 😹

THANK YOU to everyone who was there. THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of the journey to get to this point. What a bunch of **absolute legends**

PS The first photo was us exuding all the joy and, well, everything from the course. The second, allegedly, was the "formal and proper" one - with everything from me trying to look demure at the front to Tish & Miranda looking like Charlie's Angels at the back!

Our annual "Reality Check" course kicks off tomorrow! Eee!

For many folk this is the third of the four Mastery Programme modules. It's also an opportunity for any Association member to join in and see where the journey could take them - or get a taste of where things have evolved to since they were last on a course. This regardless where they are on their training with 4Elements (as long as they've done the three-days of Zero Strain Massage: Full Body training).

REALLY looking forward to it :)

The RNLI is awesome. An organisation that exists to save lives at sea. That's been around since 1824. First responders who are volunteers - literally putting their lives on the line to save others. No judgment - on any level. I am so glad they exist.

Personally I know they have helped keep at least one friend safe. Professionally as an organisation based in the sea-side town of Morecambe we see them go out on exercises, and shouts. Knowing they're there makes everything feel that bit safer.

At a time when First Responders are being remembered and appreciated as part of the 9/11 anniversary, to hear the RNLI have been getting grief (to put it mildly) makes us want to share the love for them even more.

So that's where it's at today: share the love for the RNLI! Make a donation if you can. Learn about opportunities at your local station. Send a postcard of appreciation to the station at your favourite holiday spot.

Whatever works for you - let's boost the love & appreciation vibes for these, quite literal, heroes.
