YEAR 4. On Tuesday 6th October, Year 4 will be going to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. They will be bird watching, identifying species, pond dipping and learning about conservation and sustainable living. Exciting! The weather is getting colder and wetter so outdoor PE kit with a warm school hoodie or sweatshirt, wellies and a warm waterproof would be ideal please. A letter will be sent home today. Please return as soon as possible.

In nursery this week we have:
In phonics - been learning rhyming words
In Maths - working out what we do in a morning, afternoon and night and making a day timeline
In PE - underarm throwing
Topic - healthy me - washing hands, cleaning teeth, toilet training, eating healthy
Activity over the weekend - try some different fruit or vegetables

Nursery have had a fantastic time today in their fruit party. We tried lots of different fruit, the grapes and strawberries won the favourite vote.

Year 5 have been looking at variables in games in Computing. We then decomposed a game Miss Priestley created and used this to start designing our own game. We will update you all next week!

As part of our SMSC curriculum, Year 4 have been thinking about the strengths of other people in our class. Some performed a freeze-frame to represent these strengths. Can you guess what these are? Some are easier than others!
