Levens Class had an amazing time this afternoon cutting and tasting different fruits as part of their D.T. unit. Some children were really brave and even tried fruit they have never had before!

What a fantastic day! Levens Class were very lucky and went on a brilliant trip to Leighton Moss today. We had lots of fun exploring nature in the forest school in the morning, looking for mini beasts, den building, leaf hunting and printing and lots and lots and woodland playing. After lunch, we did some pond dipping and a sensory nature walk. We all had such a brilliant time and the behaviour of the children was amazing!

Leighton Moss was an amazing trip for Kent Class today! We went pond dipping, nature hunting, bird watching in the sky tower, lunch outside the forest schools with so many activities to take part in. The children were a delight and the behaviour was outstanding. Well done everyone!

Yesterday, year 5 and 6 representatives of the school council attended a pupil parliament event with 30 other schools. The theme of the day was ‘Aspirations’. They spent the day visiting lots of different people and learning about a huge range of careers, from drone flying in farming to designing and fitting 3D printed prosthetics, conservation in the local area to how to become a vet. They came back to school thoroughly inspired!

Wyre class investigated friction in their science lesson. They explored various smooth and rough surfaces by rolling a marble over them.
