Apologies for the pout, I know how they p**s everybody off, but I like this pic better than the one where I look moody; I think I only have two looks.
Any way not been on my consulting page for ages, because I'm s**t at time management and seem to be always chasing my tail.
So much to say and teach...
Writing workshops at the moment and my new website as well as working and being a single mother.
The point of this post is that I'm wearing pastel blue cashmere top, which I picked up at a charity shop and I'm showing you by wearing it with doc martins has toughened it up also with my faithful flat cap, other wise I would never wear.

This is my gorgeous client I did today. I talked her into having a fringe, which she has not had one for years and never liked them... I did ashy blonde highlights to compliment her cool colouring.
There are things to consider when having a fringe and if things like head shape, hairline and the size of your forehead are not considered, you can look 4, instead of looking stylish.

As you may or may not know, I am a full image consultant! What does that mean, you might ask yourself?
Well I don't only dress people I am also a makeup artist and a very qualified hairstylist.
You give me anyone and I will make them look to their full potential.
I'm not about changing people, I enhance what you have. Which essentially you will end up looking at your self with a fresh set of eyes and start to like what you see.
It's much easier to go with what you have, it's relentless if you don't and no end to suffering.
Look at me for instance, I have the flattest chest you can have, I have to buy my bras from abroad if I wore them... I have a big nose, scoliosis and red curly hair. I know this "look" would challenge a lot of women and it did me, in my early years. Now I love what I see because I accept what I am and I enhance what I have, I don't change it.
I'm about to start blogging soon, so please follow me on that when it's up and running.
And if any wants any advice on image please private message me, I'm always willing to help any one to feel better. X # # #

What is an image consultant?
What are the benefits of using one?
Who needs one.?
Who uses them?
So little is known about image consultants. Why is this? It's because people like to use what is familiar, so unless you are in the public eye or you have hit a crisis then using an image consultant will remain being an exclusive service.
Knowing how to dress is a lifeskill just like cooking. We all have to eat and we all have to dress. So how come we spend millions on cookery books and every other programme is on cooking and we would all agree that going on a cookery course would make us a better cook.
But when it comes to dressing, we all guess what to wear and we feel intimidated to ask for help and if we did we would keep it hush hush...
We use personal trainers knowing we can achieve better results and you would be proud saying that you used one.
The money and time you will save using an image consultant is astounding. It takes me no longer to look good as it would looking rubbish. So why look rubbish? We don't consciously choose to look less than we can, it's not the not knowing why we do.
This service is not just be for the rich and famous. If we look and feel good, we are kinder to our selves, other people treat us differently and we are for more productive.
Live in the present and start looking good now, not when you have lost those few pounds or when you have had your baby, or when the kids are a bit older.
This is one thing you will never regret, you will look at your self with fresh eyes.
So to answer the questions above, every one needs a image consultant to give you the knowledge and clarity to always feel and look good. Most of the time I'm sure you look alright, and now and again you will wear something and you look and feel fabulous, just knowing what makes you look fabulous is powerful. No more hit and misses.
I would love to hear your comments and likes would be much appreciated.

SHAPE WEAR
Right girlie's this is a subject I'm really passionate about and could, quite easily bore you; so I will cut to the chase...
No matter what size you are, if you are wearing fabric that isn't forgiving, either go back home and change or slither into your girdle... This is not a new phenomenon, my mum wore shape wear everyday and she always looked graceful and sleek. My mother has always been a full figured women with hips and b***s, she new the power of these undergarments and so did all the other ladies of that generation.
I am completely flat chested and slim but if I'm wearing a silk dress which I do most days, I will always wear shape wear...
There is bedroom underwear, keep it for the bedroom! for me I'd rather look good in my clothes than wear lacy under wear that gives no structure and shows all your lumps and bumps. Also do you want all your lumps and bumps in their right places or do you want your bust spilling out round your back around your tummy and shortening your waist?
If I haven't bored you by now with my obsession with spandex, please like this and share. X

Successful styling has less to do with clothes themselves and a lot more to do with their power and influence over our mind. People are happiest when they have high levels of self esteem and wearing the right clothes naturally stimulates our self confidence.

You have nothing to wear, but no space to hang new ones... sound familiar?
Wardrobe maintenance is the solution. Look at these two images.
One is saying I know every item in here and I can locate every garment, the other is saying I have loads of clothes, but don't know what I have, there for I have nothing to wear.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DRESSING YOUR
POSITIVES
It doesn't matter what designer label you are wearing, if it doesn't show off your positives, you will look ordinary...
Look at these two images of Helen Mirran.
One is a nice pink dress which doesn't accentuate her positives; and the other WOW look what happens when you choose clothes that work for your body shape.
I run boot camps on styling £98. an amazing price to get to look fabulous everyday...

I just love all in one suits, I don't know if it is because buying separates is more complicated... (to get your upper and lower body looking good) than just buying a one piece. Jump suits can look good on any shape too, as there so many different styles to choose from.

Rules of wearing all black.
We all love wearing black! Black to me has it all... its beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony. Coco Chanel invented the little black dress and often dressed in black with long pearl earrings. Black is elegant and chic, it's slimming, it looks good on any skin tones; it looks good with all hair colours. It looks just as good on men as it does with women and makes buying and dressing easier.
However black can also be one dimensional and boring, these are just a few rules.
1 Vary the fabrics, nothing looks more dowdy than all cotton.
2 Make sure your fabric selection is season appropriate. ie silk and linen in summer.
3 Add interest with bold colourful accessories.
4 make sure the cut and fabric is exquisite.
