Better late than never 😅 … DAY 4!
And what a way to finish our FIRST EVER KENNEDY COACHING HOLIDAY CAMP! 🧡💚
We had an unexpected new participant arrive after hearing just how amazing our football camp was,, 👀
The children were VERY excited to see our newest signing was Pickford the Polecat 😂 The smelly fella decided it wanted to become our newest goalkeeper ⚽️
But have no fear… our very own David Attenborough stepped in! Riley carefully kept it watered while we waited for Wolfwood to arrive and rescue our unexpected guest. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO THEM FOR THERE QUICK RESPONSE 👏
Meanwhile, our other coaches cracked on with the important stuff… FOOTBALL! ⚽️
And what a day it was! 👏 Cheering 😂Laughter ⚽️ Football🏆 Games & prizes 🎉 Celebrations 🍎 Snacks 💦 Drinks
🔫 And, of course… THE WATER FIGHT! AND EVERYONE TARGETED HEAD COACH JOE 😂😂
The moment then came that rounded off our very first camp…

It was absolutely lovely to see so many of our parents and carers attend and show their support.
Every single child has been an absolute pleasure to have with us this week — even if at times they do seem to believe they are more qualified than the coaches & referees 😂
They have given 100% battled through the heat, encouraged each other, made new friends and, most importantly, had FUN ❤️
Because here at Kennedy Coaching, we want to be so much more than just football coaching.
We want to nurture, guide, encourage and support children with their confidence, friendships, and social development, alongside their football development.
We want every child to feel:

We will always adapt our sessions wherever we can to accommodate individual needs. Every child is welcome. No matter their age or ability. And honestly… watching the transformation this week has been incredible.
We have seen children arrive at their first ever football camp feeling shy, nervous or unsure …and then watched them absolutely DIG DEEP, GIVE IT EVERYTHING, MAKE FRIENDS AND COME OUT OF THEIR SHELLS 🥹❤️
That is what makes this so special.
We hope your children have made some amazing memories this week…
Because our coaches definitely have! 🥹⚽️
And apparently we had too much fun… Because quite a few children were disappointed to hear there wasn't another camp straight away!
So after a few discussions by 8am Friday morning…

And the response has been absolutely INSANE.
Within just 24 HOURS of announcing:

We are completely overwhelmed.

🔥⚽️ WOW… WHAT AN AMAZING FIRST HOLIDAY CAMP! ⚽️🔥
If someone had told me 10 weeks into starting Kennedy Coaching, I would have delivered my first ever Summer Camp with over 30 children registered throughout the week, with returning and new participants, I honestly would never have believed them.
And what a week it has been! 😂
We’ve had…
⚽️ Goals 🚩 Corners 🟨 Fouls 😂 LOTS of laughter 😢 A few tears 😩 Plenty of moaning 🥵 unbareable heat 📣 Whistle interruptions 🍽️ “WHEN’S DINNER TIME?!” 💧 Around 200 bottles of water 🧊80 ice pops 💦 A full-on water fight 🦌 A WILD ANIMAL and no, I don't mean the kids! 😅 and pretty much everything else in between!
But honestly, I am shattered, but I have absolutely loved every single day ❤️
Every child who walked through those gates has played their part in making our first Kennedy Coaching Holiday Camp something we will never forget.
And I have to say… These children really are a credit to you all 👏
We have some serious talent within the Kennedy Coaching Community, but more importantly, we have some brilliant young people who have shown respect, teamwork, resilience, kindness and a willingness to learn.
Today we finished the camp with a presentation, where every single participant received a medal and certificate🏅
After plenty of discussion, debating and sitting around at lunchtime trying to decide, we finally selected our special award winners…

Another incredible day yesterday at Kennedy Coaching 🙌

The fun, energy and hard work continued as we challenged everyone with new games, drills and competitions 💪⚽️
We’ve seen some brilliant teamwork, plenty of laughs and some fantastic football throughout the week so far 👏
Every day has been about developing, competing, making new friends and most importantly… having FUN which I'm pretty sure we have all had 😃
The way everyone conducted themselves in this heat has been excellent.
I don't know about the kids but I'm shattered 😂

Arlo has been recognised for his hard work and fantastic effort throughout the day, really showing what he can do during our drills. He demonstrated some excellent technique and ability, listened brilliantly to the coaches and, most importantly, showed a fantastic willingness to adapt to different styles of play 🔥That ability to listen, learn and put it into practice is exactly what development is all about 👏

Phoenix joined us for Day 2 of our Holiday Camp today and absolutely threw himself into everything! 💪
He put in a huge amount of effort, got stuck right in and was a fantastic teammate to everyone around him ⚽️
And with a natural talent on the ball and a brilliant, bubbly personality, Phoenix was an absolute pleasure to have with us today! 🌟
