A little cake, a lot of kindness!

On Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 September, Creative in Learning, Creative in Excellence and North Wales Exam Centre joined forces for our Macmillan Cake Stall.

After totalling up the final donations, we’re delighted to say we reached our £250 target!

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought, donated and helped make it happen. There were plenty of cakes, plenty of cuppas and, most importantly, lots of support for a brilliant cause.

Thank you to everyone who played a part. Every slice really did count!

September feels like clean pages and fresh opportunities.

Back-to-school season always feels a bit like standing at the start of a new chapter. Fresh notebooks, fresh routines and plenty of opportunities ahead.
A few simple things can make the return feel calmer and more positive:
• Start easing back into routines early
• Lay out clothes and bags the night before
• Keep mornings simple where possible
• Celebrate small wins during the first few weeks
• Remember that confidence grows step by step
A calm start often creates the best foundation for the term ahead.

If you’re considering an exam resit, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

After results day, there can suddenly be a lot of questions.

Can I resit? When can I take the exam? Where do I sit it? Do I need tuition? Which exam board was I with?

At Creative in Learning, we can support students with personalised tuition ahead of their resits, giving them the chance to revisit difficult areas, strengthen their knowledge and go into the next exam feeling better prepared.

Alongside that, our sister company, North Wales Exam Centre, can help with arranging resit examinations.

Maths and English resits are available in November for WJEC and Pearson, with wider resit opportunities available in the summer across WJEC, Pearson and AQA.

So whether you need some extra teaching, somewhere to sit your exam, or simply someone to explain what your options are, speak to us.

Thinking about resitting GCSE Maths or English?

You don’t necessarily have to wait until next summer.

Our team at Creative in Learning can provide one-to-one and small-group tuition to help learners prepare for their resits, focusing on the areas where they need the most support rather than simply going over everything again.

Our sister company, North Wales Exam Centre, can also support learners with GCSE Maths and English resits this November for WJEC and Pearson.
And for learners looking towards next summer, the exam centre can arrange a wider range of GCSE resits across WJEC, Pearson and AQA.

That means we can help with both sides of the process: preparing for the exam and arranging somewhere to sit it.
