A huge congratulations to all of our students receiving their GCSE results today!

Today is a celebration of all the hard work, determination and commitment that has gone into reaching this point. We’re incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

A massive thank you also to our dedicated staff, parents, carers and everyone who has supported our students along the way.

Whatever their next step — sixth form, college, an apprenticeship or something completely different — we wish them every success for the future.

Flu Vaccinations Information

The school immunisation team will visit school on 21 October to offer children vaccination against influenza (flu). The NHS recommends that your child has a flu vaccination every year.

Email accounts for students not staying on in education will close on 31st August so please make sure you download and save your results.

GCSE Results Day Arrangements - Thurs, 20th Aug.

GCSE results can be collected from the School Library

Y11 - 8.30am to 10am
Y10 - 9am - 10am

Results will be emailed out at 10.30am to Hwb emails.

Email accounts for students not staying on in education will close on 31st August so please make sure you download and save your results.

Students can enrol into the 6th form following the collection of their results. Staff will be available to give help, advice and assist with enrolment into 6th form in the library.

As we come to the end of the year we would welcome donations of clean uniform to replenish our stock.

Finalising Your Sixth Form Application – Enrolment Day Thursday 20th August

If you would like to join the Alun Sixth Form the next step in the process is to finalise your application AKA enrol!

This will take place on GCSE results day (Thurs, 20th Aug). On that day, we review your GCSE results and confirm your final subject choices.

On the 19th August students who have applied will be emailed an electronic enrolment to complete.

To reduce waiting times during the enrolment process, if possible, please attend at an allocated time If you are unable to attend at that exact time, don't worry, we will still se you.


Surnames Initial Letter - Time
A-D - 9-10am
E-H - 10-11am
I-L - 11-12am
M-P - 12-1pm
Q-Z - 1-2.30pm

If you have changed your mind about your subject option choices since your original application, you will be able to make changes during enrolment day.

If you have a holiday/prior engagement on that day and are unable to attend enrolment, alternative arrangements can be made to complete the application process by telephone on the same day or on the first day of term in September.
