Work Experience at Airbus
Online application process opens from 5th Sept to 27th Nov 2016, for our pre-identified Work Experience weeks in 2017.

Spectroscopy Workshop Reminder - There are no normal Y13 Chemistry lessons tomorrow. There is a spectroscopy session for you all in the morning in C4. Please come along to your allocated session. If you are not sure when you should be there come down and ask during reg.

Y13 Advanced notice - Mr Rees is in a meeting again next Monday morning. As last week use the time to...

- work on past paper packs to work through as many questions as possible
- work on memorising/completing your maps
- work through topics you find difficult from the revision guide/text book

Hanson-Alun Scholarship Scheme

Would you like money for getting good grades? Would you like work experience that will help you get you a university place?
Would you like to be able to put "Sponsored through my A levels" on your UCAS form?

Hanson building products will offer two students studying chemistry or geology at the Alun a cash bursary, dependant on their success at AS. They will also offer up to 10 days work experience to complete a real life project.

This opportunity will give the fortunate students an amazing project to talk about on their UCAS form and brings with it the kudos that being sposored by a scholarship brings with it.

To apply, hand in a CV and covering letter to Mr Rees by the 6th November. Covering letter should detail why you would like to take part in the project and what you feel you will bring to the project.
