Week 3 of Food and Fun…
Another busy week filled with fun and laughter! Thank you to everyone that has helped to make it as fun alas it has been xx Xplore Science Discovery Centre making lovely slime this week, Llyfrgelloedd Gwella Libraries lots of outdoor fun with rugby and balls games , jenga, snakes and ladders, can toss and some lovely little prizes from Miss Smith ,Basketball with Basketball Wales, skateboarding with Radex Coaching, gymnastics with Gymnastics , lots of arts and crafts and the usual yummy food NEWydd School Meals. We can’t quite believe that’s Food and Fun done for another year! Where have the last 3 weeks gone! Thank you to all of our wonderful children that attended and we hope they enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed theirs 🥰….. enjoy the photos, see you again next year and have an amazing rest of the summer! Xx

Morning guys, please can children coming to food and fun bring a lightweight waterproof jacket today if possible. The weather is a little damp ( yayyyyy) so just incase. Don’t forget the last parent lunch today too, tomato pasta or jacket potato , salad , yogurt or fresh fruit. Please let us know this morning at drop off if you will be joining us .🍉🍅🥔🍏X

Food and Fun Week 2 done …. These weeks are flying by. Another week of fun , filled with all sorts including, 🏏 , table tennis 🏓 ,history and dressing up , lots of crafts , kite flying, 🪁the egg challenge 🥚 , rounders and delicious food! Thanks to everyone for making it another wonderful week. Last one next week 😢 and don’t forget , as always parent lunch will be on Wednesday. Wow that’s week 1 of Food and Fun already over!! We have had sooooo much fun! From ball skills and cricket with Llyfrgelloedd Gwella Libraries. Skateboarding with Radex Coaching. Hockey with Hockey Wales, and my personal favourite learning all about the Vikings withCadw ! Plus jewellery making and mega bubbles lots of crafts down in our beautiful forest and making water rockets with Xplore Science Discovery Centre . Food taste testing. Followed by a delicious lunch each day from NEWydd School Meals.

Tomorrow is parent lunch day 😍. You are more than welcome to join your child at 12:30 . If you are staying please can you let us know in the morning at drop off as we need to write you on our list for numbers.

Please can all children have sun cream on and a hat before they come to Food and fun. We do lots of outside activities so it is essential please.

Evening,
Please can children bring in or come in long sleeved tops and legs covered for food and fun as they will have the chance of going to the forest school over the next 3 days 🥰🌳

Year 6 2026 - Lasting Legacy

Year 6 have helped put our new Kiva bench together and paint it ready for September.
