Last September's World Champs were vibrant in Seoul, and some acclimatising in Tokyo was mega.
⛩️ 👘

Finally getting round to sharing some of the vibes. ✌🏻

Looking forward to going to Gunsan and Fukuoka this year to get a different flavour of Japan and South Korea with more coaching at World Cups. 🤩

is on the 5th & 6th July. 🎉

Covering: movement and technique principles, biomechanics, efficiency of movement, breaking down climbing specific techniques and exploring ways to coach them. Long term participation development, person centred approach, youth physical development, injury avoidance, and much more. 🌟

Just some recent Continual Professional Development.

I've been told to proudly share my badge. 🪩🏋🏼‍♀️

➡️ A Menstrual Health Course for coaching, understanding safe strategies and management for athletes, tackling taboos, and creating period friendly coaching environments. 🩸

➡️ A Body Confident Coaching certificate, for some extra learning before assisting with research for the Dove Self Esteem project.

➡️ And a slide from the penultimate UK Coaching Elevate Women in performance coaching workshop. I particularly enjoyed the content of this one and listening to the other highly experienced coaches on the course. 🤸🏼‍♀️

What a fantastic weekend in Bristol at the Women's Climbing Symposium 🎉 🧗🏼‍♀️

I thoroughly enjoyed coaching my Boulder Falls workshop, taking inspiration and collating knowledge from years of martial arts, as well as skateboarding and my experience at stunt workshops. 🥋 🛹

It was awesome to meet so many fantastic enthusiastic women lapping up the knowledge and getting stuck in. 💪🏼

Also it was great to watch some brilliant speakers too, and get involved in as much of the fun as possible. What a fab event, thank you to everyone who makes it possible. 🤩

I've been busy... this one was from the end of October! The last IFSC Para World Cup in Laval, France. 🇫🇷

A bit of an epileptic nightmare, but an amazing showcase of para climbing.

Well done and for fabulous performances and getting past the yellow knickers hold! 🤩 We had a lot of fun on this trip, with too.
And another finals for Lucy, creeping closer and closer to that podium! 🏆

In coaching sessions we've been working on overwhelm in preparation for this year's competitions, in order to perform best in environments with loud music, distractions and unknowns out of our control, as well as a lot more. 🪩💪🏼

I'm looking forward to seeing what this year's World Cup circuit brings. 🌍😁

I've been busy adding another string to my bow. 🏹

I'm enjoying improving an added layer to my coaching with regular sight guiding a visually impaired climber. 🦮

I've increased my Lucy intake 😅 and I'm coaching Visually Impaired
alongside which is awesome, because we can practice using back ropes on coaching sessions and climbing harder and steeper climbs, while bouncing effort off eachother.

I'm psyched for a Lucy √ season.

Lucy H came 2nd in her first ever para comp at .cic GRIT festival, and made it onto the GB paraclimbing team at this years benchmarking event.
Next steps; classification.

Lucy K took gold at GRIT and is pre-selected for international comps (after her impressive 2025 season) this year, but proved that anyway by smashing the routes at benchmarking, and is looking stronger than ever. 💪🏼

Come on girls! 🤩 least I don't need to remember any more names... 😅

I'm a bit behind on social media... but a beautiful couple of sunny and crisp days in January were spent running my FUNdamentals courses, making the most of the outdoor wall. ☀️

And when your husband joins in, you've got to add a video of his face plant and silliness to the gram. 😅 Thanks for adding loads of value to the courses and for the invaluable feedback. 👌🏼

I'm looking forward to running another FUNdamentals this week in Bristol. This one's sold out, but let me know if you'd like to get on a course this year and I'll send you some dates. 😁
