🌿 What Woodland Learning is all about 🌿

Woodland Learning is more than tutoring—it’s about helping children believe in themselves.

I know that every child is different, which is why I take the time to get to know each child and find the way they learn best. Whether that’s through play, games, technology, practical activities, discussion, or written work, my aim is to make learning something they enjoy rather than something they fear.

Above all, I want every child to feel safe, supported, and confident enough to have a go. Building strong foundations in the basic skills is important, but so is building confidence, resilience, and a love of learning that lasts beyond our sessions.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child who once doubted themselves leave with a smile, proud of what they’ve achieved and excited to keep learning. That’s what Woodland Learning is all about, and it’s my privilege to help every child reach their full potential. 💚🌿

🌿 Woodland Learning Adventure – April Update 🌿

It has been so lovely to welcome all the students back after the Easter holidays! I've especially enjoyed meeting some new children joining us particularly those getting ready to start school. It’s been wonderful to see them settling in, building their confidence and self-esteem, and most importantly, feeling happy and secure in their learning environment. 🌟

A big well done to our fantastic Year 6 student who have been working incredibly hard as she prepares for her SATs. Your dedication and effort is truly shinning 📚✨

I’m currently looking for a local secondary school maths tutor for one of my amazing students who will be starting secondary school this autumn.

We’re hoping to find someone who can make maths fun, practical, and easy to understand — building confidence as well as skills. A friendly, patient approach is really important, especially someone who can break things down simply and engage the student in a positive way.
