Today we said and emotional goodbye to our fabulous year 6s. What a fantastic journey you have been on - we are so proud of the young people you have grown into. Keep being amazing and strive to be your best!

We loved teaming up with Swadlincote junior parkrun. It has been lovely seeing more children (and families) taking part in this fantastic event.

Last night was our very special “Moira’s Got Talent” show. It was a lovely evening where children chose to perform their favourite song, dance, or magic trick. Everyone who performed should be incredibly proud of themselves – they were all amazing. The confidence, enthusiasm, and talent on display made it a truly memorable event. Well done to every performer for taking part and entertaining us all! 🌟🎤✨

Year 2 had a wonderful day at Moira Furnace! They completed the Bee Trail, played Victorian games, had a ride in a canal boat and explored the museum. Moira Furnace

Yesterday was transition day. Our Year 6s visited their new high schools and the rest of us got to meet our new teachers. It was lovely to see everyone engaging in a range of activities and developing new skills.

We have had the best time at our colour run today. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves which is always lovely to see! At the end of the colour run 2 members of staff had gunge tipped over them! It was an exciting assembly to see who was chosen - Mrs Gadsby and Miss Bloor!

Thank you to you all for your fundraising efforts. The total raised for Me&Dee and our school PTFA will be announced next week. Special trophies were awarded to the 3 children who raised the most money.
