The Bradford Accordion Band has been shortlisted for the 2026 Royal Philharmonic Society (RPS) Inspiration Award, which honours non-professional groups that make a positive impact through music - WOW! Voting is by the public, 4 chosen contenders, deadline 2nd February.

BAB was founded in 1997 by musical director Anita Bašić. Over past 28yrs it's grown about 40+ members, all ages (7-90+) with charity performances within the region and a good following. I am very proud to be a member.

A massive thanks to all the bands who played on Saturday at our charity gig Music for Maggies, also to all the people who supported us and thanks the Shoulder of Mutton in Mirfield for the use of their venue and generous donation. We had a fantastic day and raised £400
