The children loved learning about teeth this week and even our youngest got involved in the activities. We loved reading the books and learnt some interesting facts like snails have thousands of teeth! This lead to exploring snails and looking at them through a microscope. All the children have gone home with a goody bag to practise their teeth brushing at home. 🦷🪥🐌😁

When life gives you lemons.... have fun! Lots of sensory experiences had today with pouring water, scooping lemons and limes, tasting the bitterness and sourness of them, smelling the basil and enjoying splashing the water. Even the after school children enjoyed making soups and potions 💦🍋🍈🌱

Sensory bins today with our little ones made up of oats, pine cones and flowers. The older children made bowls of porridge then used the oats as soil and planted flowers. Our littlest mindee loved the feel of the oats and prickly pine cones exploring new textures and colours 🥰

The children have had so much fun this week playing with water. Learning about how things float, mark making with a paint brush and most importantly how big a splash they can make sliding into the water! Bring on the summer!
