As another school year comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on just how privileged we are to have been part of each child’s journey. We say farewell to our pre-schoolers and also our year 6 school children.
Some of our children joined us when they were as young as 8 months old. We have watched their first steps, heard their first words, celebrated their milestones, comforted their tears and shared so many special memories along the way.
Some will continue their journey with us through our school provision, while others are moving on to new schools, new settings and exciting adventures aswell as new secondary schools.
This year also feels especially meaningful as we prepare for our own new chapter and our move.
Although things may look a little different, the love, care and sense of family at the heart of Sand & Stars will remain exactly the same.
There is no greater privilege than being trusted with someone’s child. The trust a parent places in us, allowing us to become a second home and a safe, familiar place for their child, is something we never take for granted.
To every child moving on, we wish you happiness, confidence and success in everything that comes next. Be brave, be kind, be curious and always believe in yourself. We are so proud of each and every one of you.
Once part of the Sand & Stars family, always part of the Sand & Stars family. Our door will always be open, and we hope you will come back and visit us to tell us all about your new adventures.
Thank you to every family for your trust, support and for allowing us to share such an important part of your child’s life. The memories we have made together will always be incredibly special to us.
