The Summer is nearly over which means that our staff team will soon be back in College getting ready to support returning students and welcome a brand new cohort as they embark on their Aurora Foxes adventure.

So many of our students Graduate and miss their time at Aurora Foxes, the Holiday Break provides a wonderful holiday where former students can relive their time here in a safe and structured environment.

We even have groups of friends coordinating year after year to come together so that they can all have fun together.

Our expert staff put on a full roster of exciting activities and trips both in and around Minehead and further afield, we are in a tourism hotspot after all!

The holiday breaks are so beloved that groups and individuals return year after year.

Graduation – the Garden Party edit!

We’ve given you a peak inside the incredible day that was the 2026 Aurora Foxes Graduation, but it wouldn’t be complete without some snaps of the Garden Party, hosted in our very own Hotel grounds on Minehead Seafront.

A highlight of the day was ‘Soak the Principle’ where students got to launch wet sponges at the long-suffering College Principal!

There was dancing and food trucks and even tiny goats and it’s fair to say the atmosphere was one of pure celebration, culminating in the iconic hat toss!

Well done Class of 2026 – we are all so proud of you.

Another sneak peak at the glitz and glamour of an Aurora Foxes Graduation, this time it is the awards ceremony at Butlins, Minehead.

The Ceremony is a chance for students to get on stage and families to witness and celebrate the incredible growth and progression that has happened over their time with us.

It never fails to bring staff and families to tears, in the best possible way and leaves everyone feeling enormous pride.

A special thank you goes out to our guest speakers from our partners at Hilton, Esther Brittan, MBE and Patricia Mahon.

This year’s ceremony was a poignant one as it was dedicated to Foxes co-founder, Maureen Tyler-Moore who sadly passed away last year.

Our supported holiday breaks offer young people with learning disabilities the chance to enjoy a week away in a happy, safe, and sociable environment in a popular seaside resort. With all care provided by our highly skilled, dedicated staff, a break at Aurora Foxes is a great opportunity to relax, make new friends and have a lot of fun!
