*Update* Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We are half way there. Two of the young people were on BBC radio Somerset with Claire Carter yesterday afternoon and we have had some 'old school' donations from local people in the community. Thank you, Thank you! This is a great opportunity for these young performers.
But I think this might be the tough bit with only a week to go so if you are able to pass the word round, or give a donation ( if you haven't already) then we would be very grateful.
💚Thank you💚
Dear Friends & Neighbours,
Many of you know Lulu (15) but maybe also Alex from Winsford (12) Arthur from Dulverton (16). You may not know that they perform with site specific dance company Stacked Wonky based in Porlock. Arthur is their tech guy.
Recently, they have found our that they are one of nine groups selected to perform on the Sadlers Wells stage in London. This is out of 48 national groups!
They are the only rural group and to top it off, the only group with an 18 year old director.
An incredible achievement, I’m sure you’ll agree.
But they need your help please.
Stacked Wonky are a charity with not a lot of extra finance for something out of the blue like this. So as their supporters we are trying to crowd fund to get these 15 youngsters and their chaperones to London (which because of the distance, means two over night stays). Oh , and we need to get our funding amount done in 9 days!!!
Do you know anyone who might be able to help with a donation please?
Or could you share far and wide please?
This is the go fund me link:

Or let me know if you’d rather do it the old fashioned way.
Thank you for any way you can help.
Regards Ema Rowe
