What's Happen MK Milton Keynes (Listeni/ˌmɪltən ˈkiːnz/ mil-tən-keenz), locally abbreviated MK, is a large town in Buckinghamshire, England.
It is the administrative centre of the Borough of Milton Keynes and was formally designated as a new town on 23 January 1967, with the design brief to become a "city" in scale. It is located about 45 mi (72 km) north-west of London
At designation, its 89 km2 (34 sq mi) area incorporated the existing towns of Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony Stratford along with another fifteen villages and farmland

Our Winter Night Shelters open on Monday and we have a few volunteer roles we would love to fill. If you've never volunteered before, or have not had chance to sign up yet, you can simply follow the link below and join our team!
Volunteering with us here at UnityMK is a hugely rewarding experience, with a wide range of roles available, and the chance to help our guests with a hot meal, drinks, good company, and ensuring they have a warm safe place to sleep.

Roles available:
Winter Night Shelters
▪️ New Life (Wed/Thu Wolverton) - Thursday morning kitchen and set down volunteers only
▪️ Shenley - Wednesday night duty volunteers only
▪️ New Life (Thu/Fri Wolverton) – Thursday evening lead cooks, and Friday morning kitchen and set down volunteers only
▪️ MKCF (Wolverton) – Saturday morning kitchen and set down volunteers only
▪️ Holy Cross (Two Mile Ash) - Saturday evening kitchen and set up and Sunday morning cooks and set down volunteers only
▪️ Whaddon Way - Sunday evening lead cooks and night duty, and Monday morning lead cooks
▪️ St Mary’s (Woburn Sands) - Sunday night duty volunteers only
Unity Park Station roles:
▪️ UPS – Friday and Saturday morning Locker Attendants (7.45am - 8.30am)
▪️ UPS - Evening café needs volunteers for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (5pm - 8pm)

🧐Who is it for?
These courses are aimed at providing a creative outlet for people who may be experiencing mild-moderate mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression or social isolation. Our creative wellbeing courses will encourage you to take a break from everyday pressures by participating in hands on making, focusing attention on creative expression and learning a new skill.
🤷♀️What if I am a beginner?
Don't worry if you haven't got any experience, whether your course is online or in-person, students are welcomed into a relaxed environment where you can experiment with materials whilst being guided by your artist tutor, all levels are suitable.
❤️Concessions are available!
We offer a limited number of spaces on each course at a 50% discount for those in receipt of income support.
