🌈 What a colourful week our Little Owls have had! 🦉💕

We’ve been exploring our Colours theme through lots of fun, hands-on activities. 🎨 We’ve been learning to recognise and match colours, going on colour hunts during our walks, and spotting colours in the shops and around our local area. 🍎🍌🌳

We’ve enjoyed playgroups, soft play, music, dancing, nursery rhymes, puzzles, colour-sorting games, Duplo, messy and imaginative play, and lots of outdoor adventures. 🧩🎶🛝

We even had lots of fun with our new ice cream cart! 🍦😋

It’s been a lovely week full of learning, exploring, movement and plenty of laughter. 💕🌈🦉

This week we explored our Emotions theme, learning about happy, sad, angry, scared and calm feelings. We practised facial expressions, used emotion cards and Makaton signs, and explored how our faces and bodies can show how we feel. 😊😢😠🌿

We enjoyed lots of lovely activities, including calm music and scarf dancing, singing nursery rhymes, creative art and plenty of sensory and imaginative play. 🎶🎨🧸

🌈 A Lovely Week at Mila’s Little Owls! 🦉

This week we explored our topic “We Are All Different”, celebrating what makes each of us unique. We talked about different hair and eye colours, read Elmer the Elephant and Elmer and the Lost Teddy, and enjoyed lots of singing, action rhymes and imaginative play. 🐘🥰

We had a busy week of adventures too! We visited Little Learners, Kingston and our local library, enjoyed the playground, and explored lots of exciting activities including playdough, Duplo, dolls, cars and more. 🎨🚂📚

Our walks were full of singing, running, animal noises and our favourite Stop and Go game. We also explored the changing colours of leaves and berries and collected some conkers along the way. 🍁🌳

Back at home, there was plenty of outdoor play, dancing, laughter and imaginative adventures in the garden.

Another fun-filled week of learning, exploring, friendship and lots of Little Owl smiles!

It was absolutely wonderful seeing you all! 🥰 Seeing so many familiar faces, little ones who have grown, and our old Little Owls again was truly special. It’s amazing how the memories come flooding back, and it reminds me just how much our Little Owls family means to me. 🦉❤️ Thank you all for coming and making today so special. I can’t wait until our next reunion! 😍

🦉 Welcome back, Little Owls! 🦉

What a busy and wonderful week we’ve had! 🥰 After our summer break, we started our new “All About Me” topic, exploring our reflections, family trees and family photo books, and talking about the special people in our lives. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

We’ve enjoyed lots of singing, dancing and nursery rhymes, as well as plenty of outdoor play. 🎶🌳 We visited our local park, library playgroup and Little Learners, where the Little Owls had so much fun riding bikes, building, drawing, cooking and exploring. 📚🚲🎨

We’ve also enjoyed walks, garden play, and lots of lovely opportunities to practise sharing, turn-taking and playing alongside our friends.

☀️ Another Fun-Filled Week at Mila’s Little Owls! 💦🌈
What a wonderful week we’ve had enjoying the sunshine while recapping some of our favourite themes from the year.
We revisited Transport, spotting different vehicles on our walk and singing lots of nursery rhymes together. We also explored zoo and farm animals, with the Little Owls proudly recognising and naming so many different animals.
The paddling pool and water play were the highlights of the week! From splashing and pouring to imaginative water play and games of Ring a Ring o’ Roses, everyone had a fantastic time keeping cool.
A special moment was watching a beautiful Red Admiral butterfly visit our garden before it fluttered away.
It has been another week full of laughter, learning, friendships and summer fun. We can’t wait to see what this week brings! 💛

🌊🐠 What a fin-tastic two weeks we’ve had at Mila’s Little Owls! 🐠🌊

Our Little Owls have loved exploring our Under the Sea theme through stories, songs, sensory play, creative activities, garden adventures, walks, and even a fun trip to Cha Cha Chimps! We pretended to be sharks, crabs, jellyfish and turtles, searched for sea creatures, enjoyed water play, and learned so much through play.

It has been wonderful watching the children use their imaginations, build confidence, and develop new skills while having lots of fun together. We can’t wait to see what our next adventure brings! 💙🐙🐢

🌊🐠 Under the Sea Fun at Mila’s Little Owls! 🐳🐙

This week, the Little Owls began our new Under the Sea theme! We explored amazing sea creatures including whales, dolphins, sharks, octopuses, crabs and colourful fish through stories, books and even a short Octonauts adventure. 🦀📚

With the warm weather, we made the most of outdoor play. The paddling pool and water tray were huge favourites, where the children enjoyed splashing, sliding and creating their own underwater worlds. 💦 We also built with Duplo, matched colours, rode trikes, created with waffle blocks and enjoyed short nature walks.

It has been a week full of laughter, curiosity and lots of learning through play. We can’t wait to continue our underwater adventures next week! 🌊💙
